About Me

I take a lot of pride in being a true photojournalist. For six years I was a photographer at a medium sized newspaper. I covered just about anything you've ever seen in your local paper. I approach every wedding just as I would a typical newspaper assignment; to tell the story through my photographs. I want you to look at your wedding photos and laugh, cry, and laugh again, at the fun and beautiful moments I've captured.

Fun and laid back. I'm often told by brides and their bridesmaids that, of all the weddings they've been apart of, I'm the best photographer that they have worked with... Not just because of my images but because I'm easy to work with and have a great sense of humor.

Contact me if you are looking for a photographer for your wedding or for your family portrait. Check my availability calendar to see my schedule. Thanks!

Jamie and Scott: July 17, 2009

I have seriously lucked out with some amazing couples this year.... and Jamie and Scott are no exception. When we did their engagement session I knew that their wedding was going to be a fun time! Their bridal party was so much fun and so where their families. The ceremony and reception were held at Lairmont Manor in Fairhaven, Washington, which is so beautiful. Jamie got her dress at the famous Kleinfeld's in New York City and was even helped by Randy, who you can see on Kleinfeld's television show "Say Yes to the Dress" on TLC!

Thanks to Jamie, Scott, their bridal party and families for such a wonderful evening!

Scott's groomsman, Rudy, helps him with his tie...

I love it when I have dapper grooms that really care what they are wearing. Here Scott shows off his super cool Kenneth Cole shoes.

Jamie's bridesmaids were so much fun!

The guys trying to be cool without smiling...

I'm not sure we knew why the ring bearer was holding his arm up, but Scott decided to do it too!

Their flower girl took her time walking down the aisle... and as she walked, she would take one petal at a time and rub it on her face, then drop it. The guests loved it!

Scott sewed the cute little lovebird cake topper himself! I love the peacock feather in the boutonniere. Jamie's ring in a birds nest of robins egg candy. And J. Russell's delicious (so I heard) fruit mojitos.

I love it when the guests clink their glasses so the couple has to kiss...

Jamie tries to hold it together while her dad gives a toast.

Jamie's grandma reminded me several times that we had to get a big family photo!

Jamie dances with her dad as her mom looks on.

Scott and Jamie were surprised by Jamie's dad with this amazing car for their getaway!
